Watch it happen

One day. Start to showroom.

Worn slab in the morning — ground, repaired, flaked and top-coated by evening. This is the system we bring to every job.

How it's done

The 5-step coating system

No shortcuts. Proper diamond-grinding and crack repair are why our floors don't peel like a weekend epoxy kit.

STEP 01

Diamond grind

We mechanically grind the slab to open the concrete for a permanent mechanical bond.

STEP 02

Repair & patch

Cracks, pits and spalls are ground out and filled with structural polymer.

STEP 03

Base coat

A pigmented polyaspartic base is rolled edge-to-edge as the foundation layer.

STEP 04

Broadcast flakes

Vinyl flakes are hand-broadcast to full refusal for a dense, seamless texture.

STEP 05

Polyaspartic topcoat

A clear UV-stable topcoat locks it all in — walkable in hours, drivable next day.

Good to know

Questions we hear a lot.

What's the difference between polyaspartic and epoxy?
Epoxy is the older technology — it yellows in UV light, cures slowly and can peel when concrete isn't prepped properly. Polyaspartic is roughly four times stronger, 100% UV-stable, more flexible in freeze-thaw climates like ours, and cures fast enough to install the full system in one day.
Is it really done in one day?
For most residential garages, yes — we grind, repair, base-coat, broadcast flakes and topcoat in a single visit. You can walk on the floor later that evening and park on it after about 24 hours.
Will hot tires or road salt damage the coating?
No. Hot-tire pickup is an epoxy problem. Polyaspartic tolerates far higher surface temperatures and is unaffected by winter road salt, oil, gas or most household chemicals — spills wipe up with a rag.
What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Adhesion and workmanship: if our coating peels, delaminates or lifts from concrete we prepared, we come back and fix it at no charge. That's why we diamond-grind every floor instead of acid etching — the bond is mechanical and permanent.
How much does it cost?
Most floors land between $8 and $10 per square foot installed, depending on the condition of the concrete and any repairs needed. Use the instant estimator above for a real ballpark, then we confirm the final number with a free on-site measure — no pressure, no hidden extras.
My concrete is cracked and pitted. Can you still coat it?
Almost always. Cracks and spalls are ground out and rebuilt with structural polymer filler before coating — it's a standard part of our prep, not an upsell. Severely heaved or crumbling slabs get an honest assessment first.
